Born in South Korea in 1964, the artist lives and works in New York and in Seoul. “I see my paintings as lying in one of the cracks that are located in between the digital world and the analog world…The paintings combine a traditional Korean painting technique called Hyukpil, that uses a leather ink brush with contemporary Western pop-abstract digital language”.
