“Selected Artworks” is a collective exhibition presenting the works of Scott Anderson, Christophe Avella-Bagur, Sven-Ole Frahm, Hervé Heuzé, Dennis Hollingsworth, Kim Young-Hun, Lauren Marsolier, Kiyoshi Nakagami, Joseph Nechvatal, David Ryan, Jeremy Thomas at Galerie Richard from October 2, 2020 to January 9, 2021.

The exhibition is perfectly balanced between figurative and abstract works and reflects the program of the gallery.

With the exception of three small sculptures by Jeremy Thomas, each artist is presented with a chosen work on the artist’s set of available works.

Most of the works date from less than five years, with notable exceptions of Christophe

Avella-Bagur’s 1998 painting «Jeune fille sure d’elle» and David Ryan’s 2009 painting  V.Beauregarde.

The chosen works  are representative works, “signature works”. Some have been shown very little, in particular «Le val des nymphes» by Joseph Nechvatal and «Untitled 160» by Sven-Ole Frahm.

The exhibition was also designed in addition to the sliding reserve located in the center of the gallery which allows to discover other works of artists of the gallery.
